We have made it to Spring Break during an unprecedented time.  I am so impressed with the patience, understanding, hard work, and so much more from everyone.  This time has solidified for me why I am part of the DeSales family. We are a family and we are in this together.  Be well, be safe, and have a Happy Easter.  We will start back on Monday April 20th.  Take care everyone.

So Proud of DCS Students

You guys are really rocking this out! On Sunday when Mrs. Rahill notified us of everything that was going on, I really had no idea how this was all going to work.  This is new for everyone.  I am so proud of the work you are doing and sending to me.  Don't hesitate to provide feedback to me, I can take your criticism.  : ) We are in this together.  Stay safe.

IXL Assignments

I hope that you are all doing well.  I am so proud of the response so far.  This is new for all of us and we will take it one day at a time.  This is an opportunity for some of you who are behind on your IXL assignments to catch up.  Eschool is up to date, so take a look at your IXL grades.  If any of them are below passing, or not up to your standard, work on them to improve your grade.  Drop me an email to let me know you have worked on it and I will update your grade. Stay safe and healthy.  Take this opportunity to read a good book, after your math homework is done, of course!

Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools Week 2018 is now in the record books and what wonderful memories were created.  From the DeSales' Got Talent Show, the Bishop's visit, the pep rally, the play and everything in between, a great time was had by all . I was in awe witnessing the talent of our students during the Wizard of Oz.  And kudos go out to the students for their exceptional behavior while the Bishop paid us a visit.  I particularly want to thank my homeroom for demonstrating to the Bishop during Mass what exceptional adolescents  they truly are.  We are now back to our regular schedule with Math homework each night.  February break is only two weeks away.  : )

Middle School Open House Wednesday October 4th

This Wednesday we will have our Middle School Open House at 6pm.  Meet in the gym and then parents/guardians will follow a mock schedule and have the opportunity to meet all of the teachers.  I look forward to meeting everyone.
In my classroom, an activity that the students love to participate in is the monthly candy jar guessing game.  Congratulations to September's winner,  Luke Genewick, who had the closest guess.  If anyone would consider donating a bag of candy, it would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you in advance for your generosity.
